Micro Merchant Systems (MMS) has integrated Solutran S3™ technology within the PrimePOS point of sale system. With the integrated technology, pharmacies can accept over-the-counter (OTC) program cards from insurers using the S3 platform directly through the PrimePOS point of sale.
The benefits are pre-loaded to eligible health plan patients' accounts. Patients receive information about their available benefits and where they can use them through email, a mobile phone application, or a website.
