Controlled Substance Reporting (CSR)

Controlled Substance Reporting (CSR)

Regarding compliance with state reporting requirements – let Micro Merchant Systems handle it!

Every state below has a prescription monitoring program (PMP) that requires pharmacies to submit reports about controlled substance prescription levels regularly – in some cases daily. Even if your pharmacy fills no prescriptions for a controlled substance, you may still be required to file a zero-submission form.

Micro Merchant Systems offers a software solution to manage the time-consuming compliance process. Our Controlled Substance Reporting (CSR) automatically tracks CSR information and uploads the file (state permitting) on your behalf to the appropriate state agency. This includes compliance with all zero-reporting requirements. Our CSR service will also notify you when the file submission is successful.

Controlled Substance Reporting is available for all U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States, is included in the list below.
